The CJ Group ESG Committee establishes group-level ESG strategy and policy direction, while managing and supporting affiliates’ sustainability management activities to ensure alignment with the Group's ESG direction. The committee also regularly monitors affiliates’ major ESG implementation progress and strengthens governance by sharing the direction of social contribution activities through consultative bodies such as the Group Social Contribution Council, so that social value creation activities across the group can be pursued consistently. Within this group-level governance framework, Studio Dragon implements its social contribution activities in alignment with the policies and direction set by the CJ Group ESG Committee. The company also reports social contribution performance through monthly regular meetings and develops and implements social contribution activities based on key matters discussed at the Group Social Contribution Council.
Studio Dragon recognizes local communities as key stakeholders and pursues diverse social contribution activities that create social value grounded in the company's distinctive creative capabilities as a content company. Planning and operating social contribution activities are led by the Finance Department’s IR Team ESG Part, and Studio Dragon expands the scope and impact of its initiatives through collaboration with group-level social contribution organizations, including the CJ Group ESG Committee, CJ Welfare Foundation, and CJ Donorscamp.
CJ Welfare Foundation, the social contribution foundation of the CJ Group, plans and implements group-level social contribution projects, donation and volunteer activities, and develops diverse social contribution programs to support the healthy growth of children and youth and expand access to cultural education opportunities. Studio Dragon collaborates with CJ Welfare Foundation to plan and implement social contribution programs that leverage its expertise. CJ Donorscamp, the sharing platform and flagship brand of CJ Welfare Foundation, operates cultural education and self-reliance support programs for children and youth and spreads a culture of sharing through the participation of diverse stakeholders. Studio Dragon collaborates with CJ Donorscamp to operate programs such as career mentoring in the content industry for children and youth.
Insufficient communication with local communities during content production or inadequate stakeholder coordination can result in restrictions on filming cooperation and conflicts with local communities, which can lead to lost collaboration opportunities and limited opportunities for developing new content. Such situations may lead to financial losses, including production delays and additional costs, and may also damage the company’s reputation. Conversely, when Studio Dragon produces content that leverages local natural and cultural resources based on active communication and mutually beneficial partnerships with communities, the company can enhance content differentiation and quality and contribute to local economic vitality and cultural diversity. The company can also strengthen the foundation for sustainable content production and enhance its brand value and stakeholder trust by securing a stable production environment and expanding collaboration opportunities.
Studio Dragon has established the Studio Dragon Sustainability Commitment to advance a sustainable content industry and create social value. Building on this foundation, the company is implementing sustainability management across its operations. Studio Dragon continues its efforts to realize a sustainable Studio Dragon based on mutually beneficial partnerships with diverse stakeholders—including employees, business partners, and local communities.
Studio Dragon establishes clear direction and focus of social contribution activities based on its distinctive capabilities as a content company. The company fulfills its social responsibility by prioritizing support for local communities and multicultural families, alongside building a sustainable ecosystem. Operating content-based educational programs with a medium- to long-term perspective, with the CJ ENM Studio Center in Paju as its hub, Studio Dragon contributes to closing educational gaps within the region and advancing cultural diversity. The company also pursues integrated environmental and social value creation by conducting activities dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental stewardship. Studio Dragon hosted a year-end community engagement initiative called ‘Studi-On Dragon’ to support multicultural families in the local community. Developed in partnership with the Korea Multicultural Welfare Association's Paju branch, the program was designed to assist approximately 100 multicultural households. Employees participated directly in packaging activities, creating ‘Warm Care Packages’ filled with winter essentials—scarves, gloves, hand warmers, and snacks—along with daily necessities. They also handwrote Christmas cards together, adding to the meaning of the gifts. The packages also included ‘DearRo’ figurines from the company’s original IP merchandise, conveying year-end warmth and goodwill. Through this activity, Studio Dragon provided essential items to multicultural families in need and opportunities for employees to participate directly in community service. The company will continue to advance community engagement initiatives in partnership with the local community.

Studio Dragon is advancing biodiversity conservation activities with local communities to share the value of sustainable ecosystems. In 2025, the company successfully executed a campaign↗ in collaboration with Key-chungsan Botanical Garden to increase propagation and create habitats for endangered wildlife species, including Pogostemon yatabeanus and Saururus chinensis. In particular, the campaign extended beyond simple habitat preservation to include environmental education targeting information-disadvantaged populations within the local community. Studio Dragon invited 104 members of vulnerable local communities to participate in specialized biodiversity education, providing direct experience with the importance of endangered plant species and the necessity of ecosystem protection. Through these activities, the company created opportunities for cultural and educational engagement with local communities while expanding awareness of ecosystem protection. Going forward, Studio Dragon will continue building differentiated social contribution models that simultaneously advance environmental protection and social inclusion through close partnerships with specialized institutions and local communities.

Studio Dragon promoted tourism at the Mungyeong set by entering into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mungyeong City during the broadcast of the scripted series <Alchemy of Souls>. This initiative earned the 2022 Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) Award at the Korea Local Finance Awards. In August 2024, Studio Dragon hosted the ‘Magic Fantasy Roadventure Season 2’ event at the Maseong Open Set, providing approximately 600 visitors with opportunities to experience local culture. By leveraging open sets as tourism resources, Studio Dragon contributes to activating the regional economy and reducing waste. Following the conclusion of the scripted series <Alchemy of Souls>, the company has activated reuse of the outdoor set through licensing arrangements. The set was utilized as a production location for other series from April through July 2024. Going beyond simple content production, Studio Dragon strengthens collaboration with local communities and preserves cultural assets in a sustainable way through these efforts.

The campaign was conducted as a participatory social contribution activity centered on practicing sharing, by employees donating usable personal items, including clothing and accessories. By creating opportunities for employees to practice sharing in their daily lives, the campaign helped to spread a giving culture within the company. Studio Dragon plans to continue expanding social contribution activities based on employees’ voluntary participation.

Studio Dragon is advancing diverse social contribution initiatives to create sustainable social value grounded in mutual growth with local communities. To manage these efforts systematically, Studio Dragon has established key quantitative indicators—including social contribution expenses, the number of employees participating in volunteer activities, and volunteer hours—which it monitors on an ongoing basis. Based on these metrics, the company assesses the effectiveness and sustainability of its activities and incorporates the findings into its medium- to long-term social contribution strategy. However, because social contribution spending, particularly donations, is calculated based on operating profit, spending in 2025 decreased slightly compared to the prior year due to operating profit fluctuations.
Studio Dragon encourages voluntary employee participation and fosters a culture of sharing and mutual growth within the organization by operating company-wide community contribution activities on a regular basis—at least once annually. The company aims to move beyond one-time support toward building sustained relationships with local communities. The company plans to progressively expand customized activities that reflect local needs.
Going forward, Studio Dragon plans to institutionalize content-based educational programs and support social adaptation and educational opportunities for vulnerable populations, including multicultural families, by leveraging its distinctive capabilities as a content industry company. Through these initiatives, Studio Dragon aims to achieve mutual growth with local communities and strengthen the foundation for sustainable business operations by faithfully fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

Social Contribution Targets
Studio Dragon has established and operates systematic social contribution targets to fulfill its social responsibility and create sustainable value. To this end, the company aims to conduct social contribution activities in line with global standards. Studio Dragon has established key management indicators—the ratio of donations to operating profit, the number of activities conducted, and the number of beneficiaries—and plans to expand these progressively. The company has set a long-term target of 2% or more for the donation-to-operating-profit ratio, benchmarked against global corporate standards. The company aims to continuously implement social contribution activities through regular operation and strengthen their practical execution. As the number of activities expands, Studio Dragon plans to broaden the scope of social value creation by progressively increasing the number of beneficiaries.
