The company operates a PDCA-based safety management system that integrates planning, support, implementation, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement. Compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and other applicable regulations forms the foundation of this approach. Studio Dragon proactively identifies risk factors at each production stage while systematically uncovering and mitigating hazardous and dangerous elements through risk assessments. Furthermore, the company conducts regular safety training for employees and on-site staff to raise safety awareness in the field, while applying consistent safety standards to business partners to enhance OHS performance across the entire production value chain. Through periodic inspections and the continuous refinement of safety management processes, Studio Dragon works to reduce the likelihood of incidents, secure a stable content production environment, and foster a genuine safety culture within on-set environments.

Safety and Health Management Policy

Studio Dragon has established a ‘Safety and Health Management Policy’, secured formal approval from the CEO, and publicly disclosed and distributed the policy. The company has also established ‘Safety and Health Management Regulations’ and a ‘Safety Management System Manual’ to prevent accidents within on-set environments and protect stakeholders vulnerable to safety risks. Through self-inspections utilizing checklists from the ‘Hazardous Filming Basic Guide’, the company proactively prepares for various emergency situations that may occur within on-set environments, including pyrotechnics, fires, flames, falls, collisions, cuts, electric shocks, and drowning. Concurrently, Studio Dragon operates the ‘Stop Work Authority (SWA) System¹⁾’ on-site, guaranteeing the right of all on-site personnel—including internal employees and business partners—to voice their safety concerns freely.

Accident Prevention Activities

Safety TAG System Implementationㅣ Studio Dragon has introduced the Safety TAG System to prevent fall accidents at on-set environments. This system applies to hazardous and dangerous machinery and equipment—such as welding machines, circular saws for woodworking, grinders, and hand grinders—for which protective measures are mandated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act. When equipment is found to be non-compliant, a red tag is immediately attached to halt its use and proactively prevent accidents. Pre-use safety inspections are conducted on temporary facilities such as ladders, mobile scaffolding (B/T), and steel pipe scaffolding, as well as work platforms. Facilities or equipment that fail to meet standards receive a red ‘stop-use’ tag to restrict their use. By enabling workers to intuitively identify hazards, this TAG system prevents accidents and contributes to creating a safer work environment across content production environments.

On-Site Safety Monitoring Group Operationsㅣ Studio Dragon has deployed a dedicated On-Site Safety Monitoring Group at the CJ ENM Studio Center, where production projects are concentrated, to enhance safety management. The group conducts pre-work safety inspections during high-risk operations such as set construction and the rigging and striking of lighting – proactively eliminating hazardous elements. Through continuous monitoring within on-set environments, the group manages the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and encourages compliance with safety protocols, thereby mitigating accident risks and maintaining a safe content production environment.

Strengthening Safety Awareness and Capability

Industrial Accident Prevention Campaignㅣ Studio Dragon implements the ‘Basic Safety Rules Campaign’ across all production companies and partners involved in the production pipeline, including those responsible for sets, props, lighting, and other production elements. The company conducts unannounced site inspections to reinforce safety awareness and identify outstanding projects that demonstrate compliance with safety protocols, providing formal awards for their excellence. When safety rule violations are discovered, on-set production is immediately halted, and work resumes only after root causes are investigated and corrective measures are fully completed. Furthermore, Studio Dragon also operates a ‘Three-Strikes Safety Out’ system that designates specific violations of occupational safety and health regulations and safety rules, imposing strict sanctions for breaches to proactively prevent industrial accidents. In 2025, the company selected and recognized one outstanding production project each half-year for its exemplary safety management.

Risk Reporting and Incident Response Systemㅣ Studio Dragon operates a worker-centered reporting system to promptly identify and respond to hazards that arise within on-set environments. When workers discover hazardous conditions or potential risk factors on site, they can report them immediately to the Safety Management Team and safety supervisors through multiple reporting channels, including verbal communication, phone calls, or messaging platforms. This reporting process is communicated to all personnel through safety training.
Studio Dragon recognizes the reporting of hazardous situations and requests for work stoppages as legitimate worker rights to ensure safety. When workers report hazards or exercise their Stop Work Authority, the company ensures through safety training that they will not face personnel or contractual disadvantages, or any form of discrimination. The company also takes measures to prevent retaliation on production sets. In case of an incident, the on-set team must notify the Safety Management Team within three hours, and submit an incident report within 24 hours as a standard rule. Following an incident investigation and root cause analysis, the company establishes and implements corrective and preventive measures. These details are shared with production sets and related departments to prevent the recurrence of identical or similar incidents. When necessary, the company conducts additional safety training and site inspections to continuously improve the safety management standards of content production environments.

Occupational Health and Safety Trainingㅣ Studio Dragon conducts regular OHS training for all employees and partners' safety managers in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. In November 2025, the company partnered with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to introduce industrial safety VR equipment for safety training, enabling participation to realistically experience and learn from accident scenarios that may occur within on-set environments. Additionally, Studio Dragon provides customized OHS training tailored to specific positions and roles for safety and health management officers, supervisors, and all employees on a regular basis, thereby strengthening management expertise and building a culture of OHS.

Safety Training for High-Risk Production Workersㅣ Studio Dragon conducts pre-work safety training for personnel engaged in high-risk production activities on set. For high-hazard operations—including work at heights, vehicle tracking and equipment filming, special effects, and overnight and outdoor filming—the company holds pre-work on-set safety briefings to communicate key hazards, task-specific safety rules, personal protective equipment standards, and emergency response protocols in advance. Through these efforts, Studio Dragon enhances safety awareness among on-set personnel and prevents accidents within the content production environment.

Employee Health Management and Emergency Response Support

Employee Care Programㅣ Studio Dragon operates health counseling programs for employees in partnership with specialized occupational health institutions to promote employees’ health and create a safe working environment. For employees identified with health concerns through regular health screenings, professional medical personnel conduct monthly health counseling sessions to support ongoing individual health management. The company also encourages voluntary health management by offering additional health assessments—including blood glucose and blood pressure measurements and body composition analysis—to interested employees.

CPR Training Programㅣ Studio Dragon conducts cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training annually to strengthen employees' emergency response capabilities. The program ensures that employees can provide swift and appropriate initial response in critical situations such as cardiac arrest. Training covers emergency recognition, reporting procedures, CPR administration, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use, focusing on practical, hands-on practice that can be immediately deployed in real situations. Additionally, AEDs are positioned at key locations throughout company facilities and are maintained through regular inspections to ensure continuous operational readiness. Through these measures, Studio Dragon has established safety infrastructure to enable response within the critical golden hour during emergencies, continuously strengthening systems to protect the safety and health of its employees.
